Therapy that fits your world, not the other way around
Maybe you’ve learned to hide parts of yourself just to get through the day. Or you’ve started to feel disconnected — from others, and from your own sense of self. You’re ready for that to change.
My approach is collaborative and relational — therapy isn’t something I do to you; it’s something we build together. The relationship we create becomes the foundation for your healing. I show up with honesty, compassion, and directness so that your therapeutic plan reflects you as a whole person.
Our work will honor your intersecting identities — racial, gender, sexual, and spiritual — and take into account your family of origin, personal history, and lived experience. I specialize in supporting neurodivergent individuals, the LGBTQ+ and ENM communities, and parents of neurodivergent or queer kids, creating space where difference is celebrated and every part of you belongs.
Using Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Attachment Theory, and somatic approaches we’ll process difficult experiences so you can feel safer in your body, more confident in your truth, and more open to care.
You’re welcome to schedule a free 15-minute consultation — a chance for us to meet, ask questions, and see if working together feels like the right fit.
I’m Kitt (they/them) — a licensed mental health counselor and the counselor behind Puget Sound Mind and Body. I’ve worked in the mental health field for over ten years and have been practicing as a therapist for the past four. In that time, I’ve supported individuals, couples, families, and groups through growth, identity exploration, and connection.
My practice focuses on helping people who live outside the box — whether that means navigating neurodivergence, exploring ethical non-monogamy (ENM), building queer and trans-affirming relationships, or parenting neurodivergent or queer kids. I provide gender and neurodiversity affirming care grounded in authenticity, compassion, and collaboration.
My work integrates Internal Family Systems (IFS), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Attachment Theory, and somatic approaches to support both emotional and embodied healing. Together, we’ll explore the patterns that shape your life, reconnect with parts of yourself that need care, and create sustainable change from the inside out.
Before opening my private practice, I worked in hospital, community, and family therapy settings — including Seattle Children’s Hospital, Catholic Community Services (WISE Program), and Holistic Child & Family Practice. These experiences deepened my belief that therapy works best when it honors the complexity of who you are and meets you where you’re at.
I received my Master of Arts in Counseling, with a concentration in Marriage, Couple, and Family Counseling, from City University of Seattle.
